The short version: we keep only what we need to invite you and put you in a good pod, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

What the waitlist stores
- your email address
- your skill level, playing style and time zone, as you chose them
- when you signed up, and which page you signed up from
- whether you’ve confirmed your address, and the confirmation code we emailed you, stored scrambled and only until you use it
Why
To confirm the address is yours (we email you a 6-digit code), to email you an invite code when there’s a spot, and to plan each wave around skill level, style and time zone so pods fit together. We’ll only email you about your invite.
Who can see it
Only the founder. It’s stored with Supabase, our database provider, in the United States. The site runs on Vercel, and our emails are sent through Resend. They handle it only to run the service. We don’t sell or share your details, show ads, or use tracking or analytics.
Like most websites, our host keeps short-lived technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure. If you choose light or dark mode, that choice is saved only in your own browser.
How long we keep it
If you never confirm your address, we delete it after 7 days. Otherwise, until you join, when your answers carry over to your new account, or until you ask us to remove it. If the beta closes, we’ll delete the list.
Your choices
Email colyn@banjoallstars.com to see, correct or delete what we have about you. We’ll do it within 30 days, usually much sooner.
Adults only
Banjo All-Star Jam is for adults 18 and over. If we learn someone younger has signed up, we delete their details.
Changes
This page covers the waitlist during the private beta. We’ll publish a full privacy policy before members sign up, and if we ever want to use your email for something new, we’ll ask first.
